“ONE NATION UNDER GOD”
AMERICANS TO UNITE AND PRAY ON THURSDAY, MAY 3RD, FOR THE 61ST ANNUAL OBSERVANCE OF THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO (April 11, 2012) – As American troops remain in harm’s way, our economy continues to waiver, and we quickly approach our upcoming elections, citizens of the United States are preparing to exercise their freedom to gather, worship, and pray. Millions will answer the call to prayer on May 3rd in observance of the 61st annual National Day of Prayer. Organized events will be held in thousands of public venues where intercession will be made for America and its leadership.

This year’s theme, “One Nation Under God”, is based on Psalm 33:12 which reminds us that “blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” National Day of Prayer (NDP) Task Force Chairman Shirley Dobson, wife of Focus on the Family founder Dr. James Dobson, said “At this perilous and uncertain juncture in our country’s history, it is critical that we remain in prayer. The American people continue to be plagued with challenges that defy simple answers, and our hope lies in humbly seeking the Almighty’s guidance, protection, and blessing – not only on the National Day of Prayer, but throughout the year.”

Ohio Statehouse observance

“One Nation Under God” event running from 11:45?a.m. to 1 p.m.

Participants will gather on the west side of the Statehouse grounds to pray for Ohio and the nation. Prayers will be offered for government, families, the military, businesses and churches.

Today in American history! April 29, 1611 A cross was planted at Cape Henry Virginia declaring this land for Jesus Christ and the furtherance of the Gospel.

On April 29th, 1607, a nation was born. Travel-weary Englishmen landed at Cape Henry on the shores of Virginia and lay the foundation for what would become the most powerful country the world has ever seen. Act 1, scene 1 of the drama that was to be the United States unfolded that day at Cape Henry, and sparked the legacy of Godliness on American shores.

America's destiny and purpose were sealed with that cross at Cape Henry. All that would follow in our nation's growth hinged on the single proclamation that this land belonged to Jesus Christ.

In the Mayflower Compact of 1620, the Pilgrims reaffirmed the mission set forth by the original Virginia settlers.

"All of us were taught that the Pilgrims came to America for freedom of worship or religious freedom, but that's really not true," said Dr. Peter Marshall, an author and historian. "They said that they came to America to, 'propagate the gospel among the Indians and to become, themselves, stepping stones for the furtherance of the gospel to the outermost parts of the Earth.' So they were missionaries."

Dear Center-Right Members~
Please take a minute to view this excellent video by an individualrevealing truth:

This is not JUST for Catholics. This is for ALL Christians. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ministers, rabbis, priests and bishops are coming under incredible pressure to watch their language as they decry the attack on our First Amendment Rights of Freedom of Religion and Rights of Consceince by the policies of the Department of Health and Human Services. As institutions, Catholic churchesall churches, synagogues and places of worship will want to protect their tax-status and monitor actions accordingly.

We, as individuals,  have the Freedom of Speech and the obligation to speak the truth. Here is an excellent example of what we can say to spread the truth:  "People Are Policy / To Change Policy, Change the People"....it really is that simple.  No Catholic can comply with the HHS policy that mandates we violate our conscience.

It is futile to petition THESE PEOPLE to change their policy...we simply "CHANGE THE PEOPLE" making the policy...it is a peaceful solution provided to us by the Founding Fathers in the brilliantly crafted U. S. Constitution:  we do it at the BALLOT BOX.  Our rights being challenged ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE.

Effective engagement is part of faithful citizenship~
In Cincinnati , many good people want to take effective action, but do not know the next steps" beyond RALLYING.  It is the grassroots Get-Out-The-Vote efforts that are needed.  I am working with others locally in this effort to recruit more good people.

Please have your Cincinnati friends joinwww.rallyforreligiousfreedom.com  to get involved in critical "Next Steps."

Also, mark your calendars for Friday, June 8, 2012, from 12 noon - 1 pm for the next "RALLY FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM" on Fountain Square in Cincinnati ~ it is part of a national effort on that day.  The RALLY will direct attendees to actions for each and every American who shares concern for this unprecedented loss of liberty.

It's About America

I grew up during the time of Rin Tin Tin and Elvis. Riding my bike – alone, three miles to a friend's house was an everyday occurrence. Television was black and white with three channels. Getting in trouble in school was chewing gum, or spitballs. We left our doors unlocked, and never feared leaving packages in our cars when we went shopping. The treat of the week in summer was going to the local pool on Saturday and getting to buy a soda and a candy bar. Our politically correct language today had an entirely different meaning back then. Nearly everyone went to church. When a neighbor needed help, neighbors helped.

Now I have eight grandchildren. As they grow up, they will be looking over their shoulders. Most people have more than one lock on doors to their homes. They have burglar alarms on their property. We not only guard our homes, we guard our speech. Our Constitution defines our rights as Americans, yet is ridiculed as out-dated.

"But as for me, I will always have hope." Psalm 71:14

Today, the sight of hundreds of Americans shouting "USA! USA! USA!", reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, and singing the national anthem, gives all of us hope America is still the world's bastion of all things free. I believe Bin Laden's death at *this* time was preordained because of *these* times. It wasn't with NATO, or the UN, not with a coalition of world "partners". It was America's finest warriors, placed in the hands of God to carryout His timing and His arranging of circumstances; God has provided the answer to the question often asked, "What do you mean, 'take back America'?"

American pride is America's power, tried through two world wars, numerous world conflicts, humanitarian support in the face of international disasters, and doing what's right, because it's right. American Exceptionalism is rooted in faith in God and the work of His Hand of Providence. Why does America give hope to the world? What is so special causing millions to rush to our shores? What is the threat to nations steeped in thousands of years of tyranny and oppression, or monarchy control, or dictatorships?

The idea and the experiment – Liberty and Freedom.

We *are* the thing unheard of. We *are* the thing tested and tried. We have been refined through the flames of revolutionary war and civil war; through the national shame of repressed civil rights; though discontented, we encourage discourse; though challenged, we remain steadfast. When threatened, we arise. We have always called on God's blessings. From the White House to my house; from battlefields to cornfields; from cradle to grave…

We are Americans.

~ Linda

November 4, 2010

Thank you, Fellow Patriots!  YOU made a difference in Tuesday's midterm elections and I congratulate you on your diligence and perseverance in the face of some of the most disparaging, hateful, and evil comments and rants ever seen in an election cycle. But YOU stayed with the cause and made a difference.

We can't rest. The challenges are still there and November 2nd is now history. We have to stay on top of our current leaders during the upcoming Lame Duck session beginning November 18th and our new ones beginning January 1. Stay on message. Do your homework and know what's going on.

November's meeting will be a discussion of how we approach 2011 and our expectations for the presidential run in 2012. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors. YOU are the strong link in the chain anchoring America to its founding history, conservative values, and the process of continuing to Take Back America.

God Bless America.

There Will Always Be A November      October 9, 2010

There will always be a November. Politicians must now be aware We, the People, will never be caught again. There are more self-evident absolutes than the truths we hold dear. The political machine can never be allowed to move beyond the boundaries *we* set. Our silence condoned their arrogant, irresponsible care of our nation, and we must hold ourselves accountable as well. We were the gatekeepers for our children and grandchildren's futures, but we didn't keep watch. We assumed love of country was part of our moral fabric. However, we failed to monitor the immoral fabric moving like wave across this nation, nor did we pay attention when the Constitution was being ground into the dust under the heels of pompous, highhanded, so-called public servants.

Our Founders knew human nature was constantly at risk from greed, selfishness, and presumptuous character. Yes, character. Noah Webster and John Witherspoon warned us. Webster said, "In selecting men for office. let principle be your guide. Regard not the particular sect or denomination of the candidate - look to his character...When a citizen gives his suffrage to a man of known immorality he abuses his trust; he sacrifices not only his own interest, but that of his neighbor, he betrays the interest of his country (emphasis mine)."

John Witherspoon cautioned the same. "Those who wish well to the State ought to choose to places of trust men of inward principle, justified by exemplary conversation...[And t]he people in general ought to have regard to the moral character of those whom they invest with authority either in the legislative, executive, or judicial branches."

We can never let Washington forget November will always come. November will always be the time of accountability. It will always be the season to judge character. Character counts.

For a good look at the arrogance of Congress, read Psalm 64
